Worship Through Confession

Corporate Confession of Sin:                               Pastor Charlie

O God, I have no merit.  Let the merit of Jesus stand

for me.

I am undeserving, but I look to your tender mercy.

I am full of infirmities, wants and sin; you are full

of grace.

I confess my sin, my frequent sin, my willful sin.

All my powers of body and soul are corrupted by sin; within my very nature is a fountain of rebellion.

Lord, have mercy on my soul.  Accept me through Jesus Christ and wash away my sin.             Adapted from The Valley of Vision

Assurance of Pardon:                                                  Galatians 3:13

Prayer of Intercession:                                               Pastor Charlie

Corporate Confession of Faith:

Church, how has our Lord taught us to pray?

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, for ever.  Amen!

Matthew 6:9-13 KJV

A note from Pastor Charlie:

When evaluating this congregation’s spiritual needs as a whole, I have come to see that we need further instruction regarding God’s purposes in uniting us with one another.

It is my hope that this study will cause us to reevaluate the enormous blessing, and responsibility to be a blessing,  we have in the community of saints.
